4 ways to upgrade your staycation

Jul 25, 2021

With the uncertainty of travel restrictions and the rise of the staycation for a second year in a row – Middlewood Farm are here to show you 4 ways that you can upgrade your Summer staycation.

1/ Go glamping

Glamping

Glamping pods are ideal for those who like the idea of camping but want a bit more of a luxurious stay. Here at Middlewood Farm, our glamping pods, are a quirky dome shape that have a spacious interior.

With double glazed windows, you won’t have to worry about the rain or any change in weather conditions. The windows also provide lots of natural light to shine through into the dome making them feel even more spacious and welcoming.

The domes available also come with securely locked doors, so that you feel safe and protected. Since glamping is all about comfort; you will find a mattress to sleep on and you will even find a microwave, kettle & fridge for a glass of prosecco or a cool beer. You are on your holidays, after all.

You will also find a covered porch area fit with a bench where you can sit and watch the world go by.

2/ Dress up and go out for a fancy meal

Dress up and go out for a fancy meal

Whilst on your staycation, you can upgrade your holiday by dedicating a night to having a fancy meal and dressing up. When packing for your staycation, you should set aside a smart-casual outfit that you can wear to a sit-down meal.

In North Yorkshire, there are a whole host of restaurants, cafes and bistros that you can explore within the region. The wide range of restaurants within the area cater to a range of different taste buds and we are sure that you will find a delicious meal that you can’t stop thinking about.

Whether you are holidaying as a family or couple, you can set aside one night and all get dressed up and enjoy a meal with your loved ones.
